World Without Cancer (1974)

World Without Cancer Documentary Film

World Without Cancer is a 1974 documentary on medicine and health that was written, produced and narrated by G. Edward Griffin which deals with the origins and treatments of one of the world’s most deadly diseases; cancer. The documentary is a full length film, having a running time of approximately 55 minutes. The film contains life accounts of various cancer patients as Edward Griffin does a deep study of the factors that cause this deadly disease and the subsequent treatments that have been proposed in recent years.

The film at the time of its release in 1974, for the first time provided tons of information about a disease that was relatively uncommon and unheard of at the time. Edward Griffin asserts that cancers are caused much in the same way as any other disease occurring from vitamin deficiency. Thus a person is likely to develop this deadly disease if he lacks a specific food component in his diet. The film moves on slowly as Edward Griffin takes his time assembling the facts and then effectively building his arguments piece by piece.

Edward Griffin further explains that cancer is likely caused by an excess amount of quasi-embryonic cells which are used for healing purposes by the body; these cells are periodically destroyed in order to make room for newer cells. But if a deficiency or irregularity occurs in the process, it means that these cells are not being destroyed adequately and thus a buildup of these cells occurs; which ultimately gives rise to cancerous tumors. One of the ways of minimizing or eliminating this threat is to have a diet that does not starve on the enzymes and supplements by injecting an external cyanide; Vitamin B-17.

Many mainstream treatments fail to have any appreciable curing effects because they do not contain adequate levels of Vitamin B-17. It is shown that commercial treatments like radiation, chemotherapy and surgeries are not all that effective as compared to Vitamin B-17.

Though the documentary may appear outdated for our times, since medicine has progressed a hundred fold since the time this film was released, it does not imply that Edward Griffin’s theories are false or not true.
