Undoubtedly Russia is one of the most beautiful places in the world and that is the reason that so many tourist from different parts of the world visit this country every year. This review is on a documentary film known as Russia’s Holy Wood, which is made by Richard Davies. Richard Davies is a renowned architectural photographer from London who loves taking pictures of old architectural buildings. This documentary describes that Richard Davies has been coming to this beautiful country for about 10 years in order to take pictures of all the famous and unique wooden churches throughout the country. This was basically a part of his project to get some beautiful and stunning pictures of wooden churches of this country.
In this documentary film, Richard Davies is taking the pictures of wooden churches and telling us about its uniqueness and integrity. A group of students was also spotted with Richard Davies, who are students from St. Petersburg and wanted to join him in this project. This documentary film was able to show the beauty of Russia and also the beauty of unique architectural designs of wooden churches that are quite old and impressive. Group of students with Richard Davies explore Russia’s North by White Sea in order to visit some remote villages, see how they live there, talk to the locals and to examine the old church structures.
